Media Library Quick User Guide
Welcome to ASMI’s Media Library
Find photos, videos, and illustrations organized by species, topic, and more using the attributes toggle. Access both b-roll for custom video projects and ready-to-use formatted videos for a variety of audiences and platforms. Find more detailed instructions below, or reach out to ASMI staff with any questions.

Accessing the Media Library

- Login: Navigate to the ASMI Media Library portal. When prompted, enter your NetX username and password.
- Reset Password: Click on “Forgot password?” and follow the instructions to reset your password via email.
- Register: If available, select “Register account” to create a new user profile. If you have registered and have not received a follow-up, please contact ASMI.

Navigating the Library

- Search: Utilize the search bar to find assets by keywords, species, audience, or other attributes.
- Browse: Explore assets categorized under Photos, Videos, or Illustrations.
- User Menu: Access your saved collections, change language settings, or contact support through the user menu.

Managing Collections

Creating a Collection
- Select desired assets by clicking on them.
- Click the “Collect” button that appears.
- In the Collections pane, enter a name for your new collection.
- Click “Save” to create the collection.
Adding to an Existing Collection
- Select assets.
- Click “Collect.”
- In the Collections pane, check the box next to the collection(s) you wish to add assets to.
- Click “Save.”
Removing Assets from a Collection
- Open the collection.
- Right-click on the asset you wish to remove.
- Select “Remove from collection.”

How to Download Assets from the ASMI Media Library

Option 1: Download a Single Asset
- Hover over the asset you want to download.
- Click the download icon (⬇) that appears in the lower right corner of the asset thumbnail.
- The download will start automatically or prompt you to choose a file size or format if options are available.
Option 2: Download Multiple Assets at Once
- Hover and click the plus icon (➕) on each asset to add it to your Selection Bar at the bottom of the screen.
- Once your assets are selected, click the tray icon with an arrow in the blue Selection Bar.
- Choose “Download” from the pop-up menu.
- If needed, select the preferred file format or resolution.
- Click “Start Download.”
Option 3: Download from a Collection
- Go to the Collections tab and open the collection containing the assets.
- Use the checkboxes or plus icons to select specific assets within the collection.
- Click the download icon in the blue bar at the bottom.
- Select format and confirm the download.
