Japan Media Tie Up with SAITA Magazine and Ito Yokado

ASMI Japan would like to propose a media tie-up starting in August 2016 with SAITA magazine, by SEVEN&i Publishing Co, Ltd. The magazine’s target readers are women in their 20s and 30s, and contents include food, careers, parenting, volunteering and hobbies, fashion, home furnishing, health, and learning. SEVEN&i Publishing Co, Ltd. is owned by SEVEN&i Holdings, the second largest retail group in Japan after the Aeon Group. SEVEN&i Holdings also owns Ito Yokado, a chain of hypermarkets (similar to Target) throughout Japan. This project is a collaboration with SAITA magazine and Ito Yokado hypermarkets:
  • 2 page editorial in the September 2016 edition of SAITA (publish date is August 7th)
  • Alaska sockeye promotion at 150 branches of Ito Yokado hypermarkets (including pops of tie up pages at stores) – Promotion date: Aug 15th – 21st 2016
  • 3 recipes for promotion products featured this time
  • 7 million brochures of Alaska seafood products available in Ito Yokado, inserted in newspapers in areas where Ito Yokado stores are located.
