ASMI Japan is planning to conduct a tie-up promotion with Sogo-Seibu Department store in Yokohama, Kanagawa to promote Alaska seafood. This is a mixed activity which combines a cooking demonstration and sales promotions.
The first activity will be cooking presentation at the department store’s cooking studio. ASMI Japan will send cooking specialist Keita Inoue to demonstrate how to cook quick and easy recipes with Alaska seafood including sockeye salmon, Pacific Cod, and Alaska Pollock roe. Keita will conduct a total of 10 cooking demonstrations – 2 per day for 5 days – with the following schedule:
February 1st to 5th, 2017
1st Session: 13:00 – 13:40
2nd Session: 15:00 – 15:40
ASMI Japan will also send one demonstration staff (at a time) to the department store’s fish section for the same five day period, 09:30-18:00 each day, to promote sales of Alaska seafood including sockeye salmon, Pacific Cod, snow crab, salmon roe, Alaska Pollock roe, and black cod. In addition, Sogo-Seibu Department Store is focusing on sustainability as part of its CSR efforts, and therefore Alaska Seafood’s sustainability will be promoted through Sogo-Seibu’s media channels.
