ASMI was joined by partners and industry members for another successful Seafood Expo Global (SEG) in Barcelona, Spain, on April 21-23. SEG is the world’s largest and most important USDA-endorsed seafood trade show and the primary exhibition platform for Alaska Seafood internationally.  Over 35,000 seafood professionals attended this year’s expo, making it the largest in the event’s 32-year history.

The Alaska Seafood Pavilion provided space for 25 Alaska seafood companies, including processors, exporters, distributors, and marketing associations, to exhibit at SEG. In addition, the Pavilion included four private meeting spaces for Alaska seafood industry members to conduct business and meet with contacts, and a public gathering space with café drinks and seating.

ASMI also hosted a press dinner for 150 industry members to kick off the event, and an Alaska Seafood Reception at the Pavilion on the first day of SEG.

ASMI would like to sincerely thank all of our co-exhibitors who helped made this event such a success: Alaskan Leader Seafoods, Canfisco Group, Certified Seafood International, Wild Alaska Company, Wild Alaska Salmon, Northline Seafoods, Bristol Wave Seafoods, Kaigo Wild Seafood, E.C.
