The application period to serve on an ASMI Operational or Species Committee is now open. Applications are being accepted through September 30, 2020.
As representatives of the harvester community, species groups, and the domestic and international marketplace, committees play a key advisory role for ASMI programs. Committee members are also important allies and advocates for ASMI. Committees provide strategic direction to assist Program Directors and Staff, provide market and species insights to inform program strategies and tactics, centering discussions in alignment with ASMI’s mission, values, and scope.
Terms of Appointment: Committee Terms last for 3 years, beginning at the date of appointment and end following the All Hands meeting in the 3rd year. Committee members are appointed at the discretion of the ASMI Board of Directors.
New Applicants: Please submit an updated resume, and a cover letter which states which committee(s) you are applying for. You are welcome to apply for more than one, however you need only submit one application.
Existing Members: If your term expires this year and you wish to continue serving on your current committee, please send your updated CV.
All applications can be emailed to Sara Truitt by close of business on September 30, 2020. You may also reach out to Sara with questions via email or by calling (907) 465-5560.
