Alaska Surimi Seafood Sliders

Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons salted butter
- ½ tsp dill
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp chili flakes
- kosher salt to taste
- 12 sweet Hawaiian rolls
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 2 tsp finely minced chives, divided
- 2 celery stalks, finely diced
- 16 oz surimi seafood

Step 1 Prepare the Rolls
Step 1:
Preheat oven to 325 F. Melt butter in a small saucepan. Add garlic powder, dill, chili flakes and a pinch of salt.Step 2:
Slice the tops of the rolls down the middle. Cut most of the way down, but not all the way. Brush on the butter generously. Bake rolls for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly. -
Step 2 Prepare the Surimi Seafood & Serve
Step 3:
Mix mayo, lemon zest, lemon juice, 1 tsp chives, hot sauce, and salt. Finely dice celery. Tear half of the surimi seafood by hand into bite-sized chunks, and set aside. Chop the rest of the surimi finely with a knife. Add fine surimi to celery and reserved chives, and stir in mayo mixture. Add surimi chunks and fold gently to combine. Chill until ready to serve.Step 4:
Spoon surimi filling generously into rolls, and serve.
