The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) recently participated in Food and Beverage at Sea (F&B@Sea)and Seatrade Cruise Global to explore opportunities for expanding Alaska seafood within the cruise sector.

F&B@Sea proved especially valuable, providing a focused setting to connect directly with cruise line food and beverage decision-makers. ASMI showcased wild Alaska seafood through a culinary activation at the Bistro, generating strong interest and allowing for meaningful conversations around sourcing, menu integration, and product applications. The show also offered targeted meeting opportunities with key cruise partners actively seeking high-quality, sustainable seafood options.

At Seatrade Cruise Global, ASMI continued conversations with a broader group of cruise line stakeholders, identifying additional opportunities related to seafood sourcing, crew training through Alaska Seafood U, and guest-facing programming.

These engagements provided valuable insights into cruise line needs and highlighted growing interest in Alaska seafood. ASMI looks forward to continuing these conversations and identifying ways to connect industry partners with emerging opportunities in the cruise market.
