Fresh Salmon Stories: New Species-Specific Assets Now Available in the ASMI Media Library

ASMI has released three new sets of photo and video assets in the ASMI Media Library, each highlighting the distinct story, harvest methods, and wild character of Alaska salmon species. The new collections feature pink, sockeye, and king salmon and are available now for industry use throughout the upcoming year.

Alaska Pink Salmon: Abundance at Work

Following the launch of the Alaska Pink Salmon: Wild Made Easy campaign, ASMI has added new photography and b-roll stringouts showcasing the harvest and processing of wild Alaska pink salmon. The footage features a crew of fishermen working together during purse seine operations, visually capturing the abundant nature of this species. New processing clips are also available, adding valuable context from harvest to production.

Alaska Sockeye Salmon: Wild at Brooks Falls

The Media Library has also been updated with new sockeye salmon assets set in one of Alaska’s most iconic landscapes. Photo and b-roll stringouts show wild sockeye salmon leaping up Brooks Falls, alongside images of coastal brown bears in the surrounding area. These visuals strongly reinforce the wild story that resonates most with consumers when it comes to Alaska sockeye salmon.

Alaska King Salmon: From Line to Onboard in Southeast Alaska

Rounding out the new releases are photo and b-roll stringouts focused on Alaska king salmon harvested in Southeast Alaska. New underwater footage follows the journey from line to onboard, offering a rarely seen perspective of the fishery. Additional visuals show fishermen trolling for king salmon one fish at a time, along with footage of icing the catch onboard.
