Committee Application 2019 Period Opens

ASMI is now accepting applications for both Operational and Species Committee positions.

Extended Deadline: Applicants may forward a resume and cover letter, stating which committee(s) they are interested in, to Sara Truitt, via email by Thursday, September 26, 2019.

The Board of Directors will assign and announce new committee members at All Hands On Deck, which takes place this year on October 8-10, 2019, at the Captain Cook Hotel in Anchorage, AK.

Highlights:
All committee assignments shall be for a 3 year term. Terms begin at the All Hands Meeting at which the person was appointed and end at All Hands three years later.
Only active dues paying members (harvester/processor) are considered voting members of operational committees. Other are non-voting advisory members. Members who were appointed prior to September 2018 are grandfathered in with voting rights.
Committee members serve without pay but will be provided travel and lodging and per diem to attend meetings in accordance with State of Alaska Travel Policies.
