Chef Chang is the Corporate Chef at Foodland Super Market. Ltd. in Hawaii. Originally from Oahu, he attended the Kapi’olani Community College culinary arts program and later studied at the Culinary Institute of America in New York. He worked as an apprentice at the Greenbrier in West Virginia, a chef at Windows on the World at the World Trade Center, executive Sous Chef at the Eiffel Tower Restaurant at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas and chef at Ryan’s Restaurant in Hawaii before joining Foodland in 2004.
In 2012, Chef Chang was named “Grand Chef” of the inaugural Supermarket Chef Showdown. He has also been a featured chef at the Hawaii Food and Wine Festival and most recently appeared on the CBS show “Recipe Rehab.”
