Urk Inbound Buyers Mission

The ASMI International team is hosting an inbound mission of buyers from Urk, The Netherlands, to Seattle and Kodiak from June 30th to July 3rd.

At the moment the fish-sector in Urk processes 350.000-400.000 tons of fish annually, with opportunity for increased capacity in the coming years, as Urk is developing 250 acres of new business development area (‘Port of Urk’) including a new port. The new development is ‘earmarked’ for fish processing and maritime business. This will enable the sector for further growth of its seafood business and processing capacity.

This is a great opportunity to connect with buyers from the region. The following companies will be available for meetings:

The following activities are open to industry participation:

In Seattle, WA

• One-on-one meetings, speed dating style. June 30th, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

In Kodiak, AK

• Dinner with industry guests. July 1st from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
