Polish Inbound Mission

ASMI will host a Polish Inbound Mission to Naknek-King Salmon, AK and Seattle, WA on July 6-12, 2024. Poland is part of ASMI’s Central European (CEU) region of marketing activities and a strategic partner for Alaska Seafood in the reprocessing and distribution sectors for the greater European market. The mission will welcome seven participants from the Polish seafood industry – representing individual companies Contimax, Abramczyk, Mirko, Pirs and Suempol, as well as other companies (members and non-members of the Polish Seafood Processors Association – PSPR)-, and one participant representing USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service post in Warsaw, Poland.
The mission’s focus will be on Alaska salmon (particularly, pink, keta and sockeye) and whitefish (particularly, flatfish species).
The following activities are open to industry participation :
In Naknek-King Salmon, AK
- Alaska seafood dinner with industry guests. July 9th from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
In Seattle, WA
- One-on-one meetings, speed dating style. July 11, from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.
- Meet-and-greet with Alaska seafood industry. July 11, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
