ASMI Reminds Alaskans, Consumers to CHOOSE ALASKA with New Campaign

Juneau, Alaska (August 18, 2020) – The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute is launching a new campaign promoting the importance of selecting Alaska seafood, now more than ever. The CHOOSE ALASKA campaign reminds Alaskans and customers that choosing wild, delicious and healthy Alaska seafood supports the generations of sustainable fishing communities working hard to safely and responsibly harvest the world’s best seafood, as well as the broader Alaska and U.S. economies. The campaign includes a CHOOSE ALASKA web page, social media and print advertising and a toolkit for Alaskans and industry members to share and show their support for Alaska’s fishing communities. 

There are several ways to CHOOSE ALASKA and help support Alaska’s fishing communities:

  • Post on Social Media:  Share your story or messages of support on your own channels and tag #AskForAlaska 
  • Share the Toolkit Graphics, Videos and the Choose Alaska website on Social Media to spread the message further.

The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) is a partnership between the State of Alaska and the Alaska seafood industry promoting the benefits of wild and sustainable Alaska seafood and offering seafood industry education.
