Favorite Baked Alaska Halibut

Ingredients:
Topping
(for more flavor, mix the night before and refrigerate):

  • ᄒ cup fat-free mayonnaise
  • ᄒ cup fat-free sour cream
  • 1 - 2 tablespoons prepared horseradish
  • ᄑ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Paprika to taste
  • Alaska Halibut to fill one layer of a 9x9-inch baking dish, about 2 pounds. Halibut should be about 1ᄑ to 2 inches thick
  • 2 medium yellow or white onions, thinly sliced horizontally

    Directions:
    1. Preheat oven to 400ᄚF. Lightly spray baking dish with cooking spray.

    2. Arrange sliced onions evenly on bottom of baking dish. Place halibut on top of onions, then spread topping over all. Sprinkle with a little paprika.

    3. Bake for 30 minutes, until fish flakes easily with a fork. May need more baking time for thicker fillets.
