Heart Healthy Alaska Seafood: Alaska Dietitians' Recipes is especially for people seeking recipes that are low in saturated fats and low to moderate in sodium. These recipes were assembled in a cookbooklet distributed at the 2007 American Dietetic Association "Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo."
Alaska Dietetic Association members contributed favorite Alaska Seafood recipes that they prepare for their families and friends. The collection includes recipes for Alaska Halibut, Alaska Cod, Alaska Crab, and several for Alaska Salmon which is particularly rich in healthy omega-3 fatty acids important for heart health.
