Hispanic Market Update
In January 2006 ASMI will launch a 3-week radio advertising campaign targeting Hispanic consumers in seven markets: Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Miami, Phoenix, San Antonio, and San Francisco-San Jose.

Until then, ASMI will continue to build awareness, interest and preference for Alaska canned salmon by participating in Dia de la Independencia events in:
•  Houston, September 4
•  San Antonio, September 11
•  Phoenix, September 11
•  Dallas, September 18

Further support of the Hispanic market includes the development of a multi-use video for use at selected supermarkets, independent retailers, and trade and consumer shows.

ASMI will also exhibit at Expo Comida Latina, an international trade event scheduled in Los Angeles October 9-10, 2005.

Additionally, ASMI will advertise in MAGAzine (Mexican-American Grocers Association-MAGA), a national grocery trade association in the United States and Mexico.

Consumer Print Advertising Campaign Fall Update
A consumer print advertising campaign to support all Alaska Seafood species is scheduled to run this fall and will involve ads in Sunset, Bon Appétit, Cooking Light, and the Alaska Airlines magazine. More information will follow soon.

Be sure to schedule your in-store promotions and contact your supplier now! ASMI can help with COOK IT FROZEN! point-of-sale materials: recipe leaflets, recipe leaflet holders, floor decals, static clings, on-packs, and instructional CD-ROMs for in-store sampling programs. These materials can be previewed and ordered from the Order Materials page of this newsletter. To learn more about the COOK IT FROZEN! technique and Alaska Seafood visit our website at WWW.COOKITFROZEN.COM.
