Seafood U Quick Reference Guide Makes Debut

A pocket-sized resource, the Alaska Seafood Species Quick Reference Guide is a handy new tool for use at retail seafood counters, and will also be useful in many foodservice operations. It is part of ASMI's Alaska Seafood U program. The new Quick Reference Guide will fit in a breast pocket, is spiral bound, and has handy tabs for instant access to quick facts. Included in the compact, waterproof guide is information on sustainable fisheries management and harvesting, product specifications, flavor and texture information, preparation tips and descriptions of basic cooking methods. It is designed to be a handy tool for daily reference, so you can quickly provide answers to customers' questions. Purveyors of Alaska Seafood, particularly foodservice waitstaff and retail seafood counter staff, can access Alaska Seafood U, our new interactive, web-based training program, via the ASMI homepage.
