New Alaska Species Fact Sheets for Customers
New species fact sheets for wild Alaska Seafood have just been released. The sheets offer more information on product forms and packing, as well as a special area the size of a business card, designed to allow fact sheets to be customized with suppliers' information, including a brandmark imprint. The new fact sheet for wild Alaska Salmon includes information and photos of each species. There are guides for whitefish varieties (sole, black cod, pollock, cod, surimi seafood and halibut), and shellfish (king crab, Dungeness crab, snow crab and scallops). Welcome New International Program Staff
Joe Jacobson has come on board at ASMI as International Program Coordinator for Asia. His four years of international experience includes the Office of Agricultural Affairs operated by the U.S. Dept. of Agriculture in Beijing. Joe also holds a Masters Degree in International Relations. Joe will be coordinating activities promoting Alaska Seafood in Japan and China.
Alaska Seafood in Boston

ASMI Board Elects New Chair, Re-Elects Vice Chair
Joe Bundrant was elected Chair of the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute Board of Directors, and Bruce Wallace was re-elected Vice Chair during the Feburary board meeting. Joe Bundrant is Executive Vice President of Trident Seafoods. Bruce Wallace is a commercial harvester from Ketchikan.
