Monday, March 16, 2009, 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m., at the Seaport Hotel, ASMI and sponsoring companies of the Alaska seafood industry will host a reception featuring Alaska Seafood, and a convivial Alaska atmosphere for the valued customers of the Alaska seafood industry. This year's reception features "edible entertainment" by guest chefs from ASMI's own chefs council preparing seafood at four special stations. There will also be acknowledgement of the 50th Anniversary of Alaska Statehood. Thanks to the generosity of sponsors Trident Seafoods, Icicle Seafoods, Peter Pan Seafoods, Ocean Beauty Seafoods, Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers, American Seafoods Group, Yardarm Knot, Kwik'Pak, Alaska Air Cargo and the Alaska Brewing Company. Tickets are required for admission.

This event is concurrent with the days of the International Boston Seafood Show. If you are obtaining a ticket through one of the sponsoring companies you will not need to be on the guest list, otherwise see the information on the E-nnouncement to inquire about getting on the guest list. Due to the limited number of tickets available, we may not be able to accommodate all who wish to attend: priority will be given to the valued customers of the sponsoring companies, and to Alaska seafood industry members, and we will keep a waiting list in order to accommodate as many people as possible for Go Wild Alaska Style!
