Go Wild Alaska Style in Boston

Pamyua Native Dancers
Phillip Blanchett, Stephen Blanchett, and Ossie Kairaiuak of Pamyua
used their vocal harmonies, drums and dance to charge the atmosphere at
Go Wild Alaska Style!

Guests entered the ballroom through a light “snowfall,” appreciated the music of Alaska entertainers Pamyua (pictured above), enjoyed a videotaped message from Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, were introduced by ASMI Executive Director Ray Riutta to the new Chair of the ASMI board of directors, Joe Bundrant of Trident Seafoods, and noshed on an Alaska Seafood dinner buffet that featured three species of Alaska Crab, Alaska Cod, Alaska Scallops, Alaska Pollock, Alaska Sockeye and King Salmon (including a display of different kinds of smoked salmon), and Alaska Rockfish.

The best part, though, was the atmosphere of Alaska hospitality that allowed Alaska suppliers to visit with their customers and build business relationships in a relaxed atmosphere at what has become a signature Alaska event.

The event was hosted by the following sponsors in cooperation with the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute:
Trident Seafoods, Icicle Seafoods, Yardarm Knot, Peter Pan Seafoods, Ocean Beauty Seafoods, Alaska Air Cargo, Alaska Brewing Co., Kwik’Pak, American Seafoods Group, Genuine Alaska Pollock Producers, and 10th & M Seafoods.
