Alaska Dungeness Crab is one of Alaska's finest seafood resources. Dungeness Crab are harvested all along the western U.S. coast, but the largest and most flavorful Dungeness Crab come from Alaska. Alaska Dungeness Crab are harvested from the icy, pure waters of the North Pacific, averaging about 2-1/2 pounds each. Available precooked, this superior shellfish has a distinctive sweet flavor, bright orange shell color, and tender, flaky white meat.

Alaska Dungeness Crab is one of the most festive crab dishes you can menu. It is classically served whole, either hot or cold, and paired with melted butter or dipping sauces. Dungeness Crab meat is traditionally menued in crab cocktails or with crisp greens in a Crab Louis salad. Extremely versatile, Alaska Dungeness Crab combines well with a myriad of seasonings and sauces in seafood stews or soups, appetizers or main dishes.
CONVENIENT. EASY TO PREPARE
Alaska Dungeness Crab is an excellent value because of its moderate price and ease of preparation. Traditionally sold whole, Alaska Dungeness Crab are delivered to your door pre-cooked and frozen. Just thaw and heat gently in a steamer or broiler, or bake (in a 400 F oven for 4 minutes) for hot menu items. For salads or cold dishes, simply heat and chill.
YEAR-ROUND AVAILABILITY
From Kodiak to Southeast Alaska, Alaska Dungeness Crab are harvested from May through September in rough and icy seas, then delivered live to processing plants to be cooked, frozen and packed for sale. Alaska's state-of-the-art freezing and processing technology preserves the firm texture and delicate flavor of Alaska Dungeness Crab, consistently delivering a high quality product.
