120 ClubCorp Clubs Participate in Two-Week
Alaska Seafood & California Wine Promotion

JUNEAU, AK (September 13, 2001) - From September 25 to October 6, 2001, 120 of ClubCorp's 220 Clubs will be participating in the Alaska Wild Seafood and California Wine Festival promotion, which was developed by ClubCorp and the Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI).

As the owner and operator of 220 golf courses, country clubs, private business clubs and golf resorts around the world, one of ClubCorp's primary goals is to ensure an unparalleled private club experience for every member and every guest. "The pairing of Alaska Seafood and California Wines is a natural fit. The exceptional support we received from ASMI in providing promotional materials and detailed information has made it easy to organize this event," said Henry Wenzel, Director of Club Operations.

Alaska Seafood's all-natural, superior flavor, along with its versatility make it an ideal ingredient for appetizers, soups, salads and main courses, including a number of ethnic dishes. As a result, ClubCorp Chefs are able to create delectable dishes that are healthy and meet the varying flavor profiles of Club members and guests.

"We're excited to be working with such a prestigious company and looking forward to showcasing Alaska Seafood to the chefs and members of the 120 ClubCorp Clubs," said Claudia Hogue, Marketing Director for ASMI.

The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) is the State of Alaska's official seafood marketing arm. It is a public corporation of the State of Alaska, funded by the Alaska seafood industry and federal grants. ASMI promotes Alaska Seafood throughout the U.S. and in 17 other countries. ASMI also provides education and training to the seafood industry in food safety and quality assurance practices.

Founded in 1957, Dallas-based ClubCorp has $1.7 billion in assets. The company is the world leader in delivering golf, private club, and resort experiences. Internationally, the company owns or operates more than 210 golf courses, country clubs, private business clubs, and resorts. Among the company's nationally recognized golf properties are Pinehurst in the Village of Pinehurst, North Carolina (the world's largest golf resort, the site of the 1999 U.S. Open, and venue for 2005 U.S. Open); Firestone Country Club in Akron, Ohio (site of World Golf Championships-NEC Invitational); Indian Wells Country Club in Indian Wells, California (site of the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic); The Homestead in Hot Springs, Virginia (founded in 1766 and America's first resort); and Mission Hills Country Club in Rancho Mirage, California (home of the LPGA Nabisco Championship). The company's 24,000 employees serve the 500,000 club members and 250,000 guests who visit ClubCorp properties each year.
