  • Known for its firm pink flesh, moderate fat content and delicate flavor.
  • This species is in high-demand by the foodservice industry and is used in almost every segment.
  • Average weight is eight pounds and grow to be 25 to 27 inches long.
  • They are available as whole fish, steaks and fillets and are sold canned and smoked as well as fresh and frozen. Keta Salmon have a lower oil content than other salmon and are very good for smoking.
