Citing better-than-expected performance among full-and limited-service restaurants, Technomic, Inc., noted that bars and restaurants exceeded their healthiest performance since 1993. "Traffic growth, new units and menu price increases all contributed to the positive performance" in the restaurant industry, according to Joe Pawlak, vice president at Technomic.
