The July 2005 issue of Redbook Magazine features recipes from Elizabeth Karmel's book Taming the Flame: Secrets for Hot-and-Quick Grilling and Low-and-Slow BBQ. One of the recipes highlighted is a Salmon BLT with Herbed Mayonnaise. The recipe notes, "The freshness of the wild salmon pairs perfectly with the smokey bacon, acidic tomatoes, crunchy lettuce, and cool herbed mayo."

Wild Watch #2
In the Special Summer Issue of Natural Health a delicious Ginger Broiled Salmon recipe is featured. The recipe specifies for readers to use wild salmon. In the side bar to the recipe it notes that Annemarie Colbin, Ph.D., a holistic nutritionist who founded the Natural Gourmet Cookery School in New York City, favors wild fish.
