Consumer Television Advertising Campaign Continues February 5 - April 1, 2007
The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) will continue the consumer television advertising campaign on The Food Network and also now on Fine Living. This run of the campaign includes the salmon and crab commercials. Ben Stein delivers the wild and sustainable messaging in 15-and 30-second spots from February 5 through April 1, 2007. Also, the campaign includes 30-and 60-second vignettes.
Wild, Sustainable Alaska Crab - A Profoundly Wonderful Catch
The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute now offers operators and distributors a new educational tool on why wild and sustainable Alaska Crab is the perfect choice for years to come. The brochure highlights Alaska's dedication to managing the harvest for sustainability, so operators and distributors can be assured that there will be a consistent supply of Alaska Snow, Dungeness and King Crab. Indeed, Alaska Crab harvesters endure 40-foot swells and 20-hour shifts to deliver these treasures from the sea.
The brochure also mentions the profitability of the three Alaska Crab species, which all command center-of-plate position and yield impressive profits. In addition, each species' unique attributes are noted in the brochure. Alaska King Crab receives high marks for its brilliant red/orange shell, sweet and tender snow-white meat and wide range of sizes. Whereas Alaska Snow Crab is described as "among the finest value-based menu items available." Alaska Dungeness Crab is renowned for its versatility, distinctly sweet and nutty taste and its premium menu price.
