Seafood lovers get a behind-the-scenes peek into the lives of the men and women who harvest wild Alaska seafood! The Alaska Seafood Marketing Institute (ASMI) recently launched a brand new consumer website,
www.wildalaskaflavor.com, that includes photos and interviews with real fishermen and women to help answer the growing question consumers have about where their food comes from and who is catching it. The fishermen discuss the importance of sustainability, illustrating that supporting Alaska seafood helps to ensure the continuation of this lifestyle for generations.

Playing on the themes of fishermen and flavor, the site includes three videos with some of the nation's top chefs, including Jason Wilson, Michael
Cimarusti and Robert Wiedmaier, who have each experienced the Last Frontier and its wild fisheries in person. Join these chefs in their kitchens as they talk about why they love working with Alaska seafood while preparing some delicious dishes:
Other features at
www.wildalaskaflavor.com include in-depth species profiles and a variety of salmon, whitefish and shellfish recipes. Plus, stay current with the latest Alaska seafood news with the Alaska seafood widget.
